“What else is new in the land of Splats? What else can we learn about Shakespeare? How can we contextualise our teaching of Shakespeare?” I hear you ask…
It’s all go in Castle Splats and you can now book a make-a-play-day all about Francis Drake and the Tudors! The day is called ‘Splats and the Francis Drake Adventure’ and follows a young character called Splats, a distant relative of us all, as he adventures through the Tudor world. While he is playing football in Portsmouth he gets knocked out and wakes up as a cabin boy for Francis Drake, then he circumnavigates the globe, defeats the Spanish armada and then returns to London and joins the Globe players to perform in some Shakespeare.
